Derby HACC is managed by a voluntary community based committee that meets monthly or as the need arises.
It is a non profit, non government organisation that is State and Federally funded. HACC provide services to assist frail aged and younger people with disabilities to remain living independently in their own homes for as long as able.
Services include:

• Shopping
• Laundry
• Personal Care
• Limited Home Maintenance
• Meals on Wheels @ $8.00 a meal
• Social Support
There is a small fee for service. Inability to pay does not mean a service cannot be provided. Referrals can be made from any person in the community with the potential client’s permission.

Garl Garl Walbu provides Sobering Up Shelter and Derby Night Patrol service for intoxicated people so they can be transported home or to a safe place such as the Sobering Up Shelter facility which provides an overnight accommodation and has four rostered full time workers to assist and monitor customers while sleeping and provide a cooked meal in the morning.
